If God’s Righteousness was merely transferred from Christ to you at Salvation, WHY the WALK and the WARNING? "IF you LIVE according to the flesh you will die!" Rom8:13. To What Purpose would a New Creation in Christ be if you remain ‘wretched’ within incapable of living Right? Under such a system Obedience remains optional and your behavior is not an issue. It stands to reason why there is so LITTLE Change in conduct among the people involved in these huge ministries today. They have the numbers, but fail miserably in godliness.

However, through the Work of Faith with Power, God has provided a Way by which man can be redeemed from his sin and RESTORED to HOLINESS. Righteousness is then REVEALED in his soul, by this Faith as he engages in a ‘WORK TOGETHER’ with God that Purifies and Cleanses him from all defilement of the flesh and spirit. He is NOT Righteous by Proxy, but in PRACTICALITY! Knowing that Behavior DOES Count and WILL Disqualify him from the Kingdom if not reformed by God.

The Jews of old sought Righteousness through the Law and Tradition and failed to achieve it. Thus they learned to ‘conceal’ their sin within. Outside they appeared zealous for God and stringent for His law, but while they were teaching that men should not commit adultery in practice, they were DOING it in their hearts! Rom2:1-3. The SAME THINGS they were condemning openly were the THINGS they were Guilty of themselves. (Matt23:2-34) They occupied Moses seat and spoke DIRECTLY from the Scriptures, but Jesus said they were FULL of lies and hypocrisy and all uncleanness! By ‘Proxy’ they had abolished Righteousness and tried to establish their own Righteousness. (Rom10:1-2)

The Present Day Church is no different. They have Zeal for God, Teach DIRECTLY from His Word and APPEAR religious, but are defiled within. The Righteousness they have established has a Moral tone to it, but no INWARD WORKING POWER to reform the individual heart. Therefore professing converts are left in the SAME condition as the Pharisees they loath, trying to please God in the flesh. Faced always with the SAME dilemma of failure because, "The Carnal Mind is enmity against God, for it is NOT subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be!" Rom8:7.

In order to appease the apparent contradiction they retreat to Romans Chapter 7:14-25 and tell the people they must accept the ‘wretched man’ within them and learn to live with daily sin in thought, word and deed. But how can ‘sin NOT have Dominion over you’ Rom6:14, IF you are indulging yourself in it everyday?

The Scripture says that you are a ‘SLAVE’ to whom you Obey, either sin unto death, or Obedience unto Righteousness, Rom6:16. HOW is the Righteousness and Perfect Obedience of Christ Transferred to you going to MAKE UP for your LACK of godliness? You Remain as wretched as the Pharisees, adorned in the ‘Robes’ of Righteousness, but FULL of duplicity!

The Righteousness you look to in Christ is merely a reflection of the IMAGE created by the False Prophets to bare a LIKENESS that fits your Mold. You’re a Whitewashed tomb full of dead men’s bones!

NOTHING in Scripture Transfers Christ’s Righteousness and Obedience to you or fulfills your obligation as a Parent, Disciple, Son, daughter or friend. Your Righteousness MUST EXCEED that of the Pharisees or you will remain UNFIT for the Kingdom! The Religious hypocrites were vile within, YOU MUST be PURE within, made so by the Righteousness of Faith. (Rom1:17) ONLY then will your righteousness EXCEED that of the Scribes and Pharisees because it is REAL NOT a Cloak.

ABOVE is a Perfect example WHY the present day churches are filled with professing converts to Christ who are spiritually bankrupt and Biblical illiterate. As long as a person DOES NOT have to take responsibility for his actions, because God no longer sees them, he is FREE to do whatsoever he pleases and be ‘forgiven’ in advance. Admonishing him to do the right thing such as ‘Put on Christ’, or ‘Walk in the Spirit’ has little effect on his behavior if the reverse has no Consequences.

Presupposing that a person is somehow ‘eternally secure’ in Christ at the moment of his Justification Renders the Redeeming Power of the Gospel message ineffective to Save. Such a message implies that God has abolished all the Warnings and threatening of Scripture and now winks at the type of behavior He condemned in days of old. Cloaked in a Righteousness that is Transferred by faith from Christ to the believer, the supposed convert is no better off than the religious hypocrites of the past, Clean on the Outside, while Defiled Within. The evil eye of the flesh remains with him, implanted permanently by a DOCTRINE that excuses his duplicity.

The Word then is Sown among the ‘Thorns’ of error, never to take root in his heart or bring forth enduring Fruit unto everlasting life. (Luke8:11-15) The ‘Package’ has declared him Righteous although he remains unrighteous within. Therefore the incentive to live Holy in all his Conduct, as Commanded to do in Scripture, has no force behind it because it’s ALREADY been done. Admonishing him to Make every effort, Work Out his salvation, or Run the race with endurance sounds a ‘legalist’ tone to his ears while he waits for his eventual Glorification that will work everything out in the wash.

Therefore even if the person does indeed overcome the ‘Package’ message and ‘Believe for a while,’ there’s LITTLE possibility that he will endure long on the Narrow Way and make it into the Kingdom. Unequipped to guard his heart from the behavior listed in Scripture that will disqualify him from Glory he will easily become hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and eventually sell his birthright and fall short of the Grace of God. Worse, he will become CONVINCED that he is in a SAFE state and NEVER consider the possibility of Self-Deception. As the years roll by his heart will grow more callous as the ‘Message’ seals his Doom and the Gospel becomes nothing but a mere fable of man.

The True Convert who has come to Christ through godly sorrow and heart felt repentance doesn’t just ‘Struggle’ against his sin daily, as the Package preachers imply. He OVERCOMES by a FAITH WORKING by LOVE! Not because the Righteousness of Christ has been transferred to him BUT because God has REVEALED His Righteousness in him through faith and thereby purified his heart! (Acts15:9, 1Pet1:22)

Those Born of God OVERCOME the wicked one or the ‘spirit of error’ blowing the Winds of Doctrine through the voice of the False Prophets. THIS is the meaning of a WORKING Faith in Scripture. Satan has masterly crafted a message that SOUNDS like Truth and even contains elements of the Truth in it, BUT cunningly leaves people UNFIT for the Kingdom by failing to circumcise the heart. Thus they become ‘BETTER’ people on the outside, taking on a ‘religious’ exterior, but inside remain full of dead men’s bones! The Majority are unaware that they have traded one life of sin for another, CLOAKED, in a shell of morality that conceals their infidelity from God. HOWEVER the Redemption of man’s soul involves MUCH MORE than turning him into a good citizen in his community.

The Message of the New Covenant TURNS on an OBEDIENT Heart yielded to God by Faith in Christ.

ONLY then can your Righteousness EXCEED that of the Scribes and Pharisees. Otherwise it is merely a cloak, no better than religious hypocrisy leaving you vile and full of deceit.

It is what’s INSIDE of a person that defiles him, Matt15:16-20, OUT of the heart proceed evil thoughts, immorality, lies and blasphemy! This is where Redemption MUST take place. We can reform man with a moral code of conduct for a more civilized society, but UNLESS the inner heart is Cleansed he will NEVER be able to please God! Because: "Those who are in the flesh cannot please God." Rom8:8

THIS is the reason for all the Double-mindedness among professed Christians today. They are trying to Serve TWO Masters, one of the flesh the other of the Spirit. BUT it CANNOT be done! You will be Loyal to one and despise the other because they are TWO opposing forces. Unless the Flesh DIES you will NEVER be FIT to Enter the Kingdom of God! (Matt10:38-39, Luke9:23-24)

The Message of the New Testament is Christ Crucified and the Flesh subdued. Cloaking your passions in a ‘principle’ of Righteousness that is supposedly Transferred from Christ at Justification WILL NOT Subdue them. ONLY Death will set you Free. You MUST die to your passions and desires or be destroyed by them! "For he who has died has been FREED from sin!" Rom6:7. Making allowance for the flesh by Twisting the Scriptures to fit your design, thereby excusing your sin, will ONLY serve to KEEP you OUT of the Kingdom in the end. Regardless what you ‘believe’ to be the truth if your Heart is not being PURIFIED by a Faith Working by love, you have NO faith at all.

The Package Gospel has NOTHING to do with OBEDIENCE. But merely a ‘Principle’ of Faith that declares you Righteous while you remain sinful. It involves no godly sorrow and repentance because WHY would you repent or ‘forsake’ sins you have NO intention of giving up? Thus the ‘Package’ is no better than what the Pharisees were offering. The Scriptures that declare you dead to sin and alive to God and the old man done away with are true in ‘Principle’ but not in FACT. You remain under the ‘Dominion’ of sin, but free in Christ. You’re a Walking contradiction of the Truth! But ‘saved’ because you believe.

Going beyond the Principle requires an OBEDIENT heart. It will become Obedient through the process of godly sorrow and repentance. As Faith is Born into the soul through His Gift of Grace you CONSCIENCELY take hold of His Exceeding Great and Precious Promises! The deep felt desire should be present within you IF you have gone beyond worldly sorrow for sin. The Fallow ground of your heart can now reach forth and PUT ON Christ by LAYING aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness within. The IMPLANTED WORD can then SAVE your Soul as you become a DOER not just a hearer of it.

Renewed from the inside out by the DIVINE Nature of Christ it is now up to YOU to no longer allow sin to reign in your mortal body to obey its lust. To present your members as instruments of Righteousness to God as alive from the dead. To WALK in Newness of life and Perfect holiness in the fear of God. To Work out your own Salvation, Make your calling and election SURE and RUN the race with endurance! IF you fail to do these things with what God has already Provided through His Grace, you ‘receive’ His Grace without purpose and to NO EFFECT! He CANNOT SAVE you Otherwise!

If you possess NO DESIRE within to OBEY these Commands your faith is no more than the faith of devils and WILL NOT save your soul. GENIUNE Faith is WORKING Faith, Cleansing Faith and Purifying Faith.

Don’t expect this Kind of Faith to happen in Stages. Repentance may occur in stages as sorrow upon sorrow for any given period of time, but when REAL FAITH comes in it TRANSFORMS the HEART! That’s how you can tell if it’s the REAL THING.

THEN you become the Righteousness of God in Him! 2Cor5:21. NO LONGER a mere Principle but a NEW MAN Created according to the IMAGE of Christ! Imagine receiving a ‘heart Trans-plant’ and NOTHING changes. IMPOSSIBLE! Therefore If you have received the DIVINE Nature of Christ by faith expect the RADICAL. Dead Faith is what the Pharisees had, outwardly they appeared Righteous and even imagined themselves to be so. But inwardly they remained vile and given over to worldly lust.

Do you IMAGINE that your Righteousness Exceeds theirs because you ‘believe’ in Jesus. Your ‘Wonderful Package’ smells of dead men’s bones and your foolish heart is growing Darker as the days go by. Reclaim your fallen birthright in the bitter tears of repentance while there’s still time and find the RIGHTEOUSNESS and TRUE Holiness in Christ Jesus today!

The Pharisees were boasting that by keeping the dictates of the law and their traditions they would be accepted by God while the Gentiles would be rejected. Their Righteousness was OUTWARD of the flesh based on ordinances and custom, INSIDE they remained vile and full of hypocrisy. The Law they were boasting in was NOT written in their hearts but only on tablets of stone. They had a FORM of godliness without the Power of a godly life.

Therefore when Paul declared that Salvation was ‘Not of Works, lest anyone should boast’ Eph2:8-9, he was NOT negating OBEDIENCE to the Faith! He Specifically meant that Salvation could not be attained through the dictates of the law. It had to go DEEPER than outwardly adhering to rules and regulations. Somehow the HEART had to be motivated to KEEP God’s Commandments out of LOVE. Only then could the Righteousness of Faith EXCEED the righteousness of the law, because it TURNED on a heart PURIFIED by Faith and Working by Love!

Thus KEEPING His Commandments is NOT ‘Works’ of the law, but the WORK of Faith and the ONLY way a soul can experience genuine salvation in Christ. Apart from on Obedient heart, faith is Dead.

The New Covenant turns the Focus of God’s Law INWARD and circumcises the heart. That the Righteous Requirements of law may be fulfilled in those who WALK NOT after the flesh but after the SPIRIT! Rom8:1-4. This is the Exceeding Greatness of His Awesome Power to Transform the Life. "IF anyone be in Christ he is a NEW CREATION, old things have passed away, ALL things have become NEW!" 2Cor5:17. Without it your Faith becomes no better than the faith of devils, who ‘believe’ and tremble, James2:19. Like the Jews of Old you are a Whitewashed Tomb full of dead men’s bones. Clean on the outside, but defiled inside.

The BOAST was Keeping the Law, which they violated daily in their hearts and ‘believed’ they would escape God’s Judgement because they were Abraham’s Seed. Much like the present day church who think they will escape His Judgement because they are cloaked in the Righteousness of Christ while they remain vile in their hearts.

The Heart made PURE by Faith WORKING by Love can now OBEY God WITHIN. Those things that defile a man inwardly, Matt15:19, ‘Evil thoughts, immorality, lies and blasphemies’ are CLEASED and the DIVINE Nature is implanted. Then the WORD is able to SAVE the soul! (James1:21-27)

OBEYING GOD from the heart is NOT the ‘Works’ of the law Paul was excluding in the Eph2:8-9 passage. The BOAST he was speaking of is what the Jews were doing to authenticate their son ship with Abraham. They were seeking Righteousness through the law, refusing to follow in the STEPS of Abraham in his WALK of Faith that resulted in TRUE Righteousness and holiness. (Rom4:12-13)

ONLY OBEDIENT Faith is Credited as Righteousness, not DEAD faith. (Rom4:22) Abraham Worked the Work of Faith with Power and was found PERFECT before God because his heart was PURE. (James2:22)

Therefore Abraham OBEYED GOD (from the heart! Heb11:8) and Walked Worthy of his high calling in Christ Jesus. The Sons of Abraham ALSO Walk according to this Faith and DO NOT make Christ a minister of sin by unrighteous behavior. (Gal2:17, 3:7)

NOTHING could be MORE destructive to this Working Faith (that saves the soul) than to EXCLUDE it by calling it Legalism! Millions of professing Christians today are on the WIDE Road to Destruction simply because they have refused to OBEY God out of a heart of love ‘believing’ it to be a ‘Work’ and superfluous for salvation. But it is the OUTWARD adherence to the ‘Works’ of the law that Paul denounced. Those things that have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility and neglect of the body, but are of NO VALUE against the indulgence of the flesh! Col2:23.

It requires an OBEDIENT heart to Crucify the passions and desires of the flesh. You are a slave to whom you obey, Rom6:16, either sin to death or obedience to Righteousness. Religion that does not bridle the passions is of no value whatsoever. (James1:26) By abolishing Obedience Satan has successfully rendered the Gospel ineffective to save anyone FROM their sins! As long as people are convinced that Obedience is ‘Works’ they remain in a state of condemnation and their preachers are willing accomplices in the ruin of their souls for NOT warning them of the Danger they are in.

What Further evidence do you need? We have shown you the HEAD of the BEAST and revealed the power behind his throne. The False Prophets have also been plainly exposed. You now Stand before God WITHOUT Excuse! Will you remain neutral or take up the Mantel of Truth? The enemy offers no mercy in his quest for the souls of men. Time is running out and the FINAL CALL is sounding from above.

The possibility of Deception was ever present to the followers of Christ during their sojourn on earth. The spirit of error was lurking around every corner and always laying in wait to DECEIVE. False teachers had already crept in among the brethren and began to twist and Mold the Scriptures to their own and their hearers’ destruction! With their great swelling words of emptiness they promise Liberty in Christ while you remain a slave to your own corruption. Many are ’beguiled into their deception by taking the BAIT and entangled again in the lusts of the flesh. Like a fish on the hook, they struggle to get free but find escape impossible as they wallow in the mire of their inner filth. (2Pet2:12-22)

The warning of James the Apostle is no exception. He definitively declared that to be ‘Drawn into Error’ would bring about spiritual death. In BOTH passages he used the EXACT same Word. Which means:

To be Lead into DECEPTION! ALL the Bible Authors used this Word to warn the Brethren, from Matthew to Revelation the warnings stand. BE NOT DECEIVED! Don’t allow yourself to be lead into ERROR.

The Word has several uses in the New Testament, including:

to cause to stray, to lead astray, lead aside from the right way

to go astray, wander, roam about

to lead away from the truth, to lead into error, to deceive

to be led into error

to be led aside from the path of virtue, to go astray, sin

to sever or fall away from the truth

of heretics

to be led away into error and sin

metaph.

mental straying (as having eyes full of adultery, a heart corrupted by lust)

This is the STRONG DECLUSION spoken of in 2Thess2:1-11, used by the ‘spirit of error’ (the False Prophets!) to lure you into error that will bring about spiritual death, making you a ‘Son of Perdition.’

With ‘molded’ words they bait you into their trap, not by telling you outright that it’s OK to sin, but letting you DRAW your own conclusion from their subtitles. Rather than Righteousness and true holiness they will have you believing that Christians are sinning all the time in though, word and deed and there’s nothing you do about it but confess and go on.

However the Apostles were keenly aware of this ‘spirit of error’ in their midst and warned us time and again to Overcome it or fall under its seduction and be lost. The beloved Apostle John said, "These things I have written to you concerning those who try to DECEIVE you." 1Jh2:26. MANY False Prophets had ALREADY gone out into the World (at that time) and were DECEIVING many! Matt24:4-5. HOW can you tell the Difference between them?

You will KNOW them by their FRUITS! Matt7:15. If the Fruit of Righteousness is being produced by the Doctrine which is according to godliness, the TRUTH is being preached. If lawless behavior prevails, the spirit of error is in control. But what about those who ‘sin and confess’ as 1Jh1:9 implies, the False Prophets will ask. ‘Do they not remain saved?’ Thus subtlety suggesting that daily sin is normal for the professed Christian and he is covered by the blood of Christ.

However John’s FOCUS is the CLEANSING of all unrighteousness in 1Jh1:7-9, 2:1, NOT the continuation of known sin because we have an Advocate with the Father in forgiveness. The spirit of deception can easily SHAPE an entirely different meaning from what the Apostle intended and lead many into the ‘error of the wicked’ and finally Perdition. 2Pet3:17.

"Whoever has been born of God DOES NOT sin!" John declares, 1Jh3:9. Instead he BRINGS FORTH the FRUIT of Righteousness! "The Fruit of Righteousness is shown in peace by those who make peace!" James3:18. Who are the ‘Peacemakers’ but the Sons of God by Faith in Christ. Matt5:9.

The Real Danger of ERROR is NOT from the cults or even the wicked, but from the Preachers and Teachers you trust to teach you Sound Doctrine and nourish you in the faith. These are the ones you would least expect to be Wolves in sheep’s clothing spreading the spirit of error. But Scripture describes them wrecking havoc on the church and leading thousands astray. ‘Sporting themselves in their own deceivings’ they lure unstable souls into sin, 2Pet2:13-15, having eyes ‘full of adultery’ corrupt to the core and teaching that they will escape the Judgement of God because the Righteousness of Christ has been transferred to them by faith.

This ever present possibility of Deception among the Saints was foremost in the Apostles mind when reminding them of the absolute necessity of godly living and PURE Conduct. "For me to write the SAME things to you is not tedious, but a SAFE GUARD!" Phil3:1, said Paul, repeating his warning that ‘MANY Walk as enemies of the Cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly and whose glory is in their shame.’ He told the Churches of Corinth and Ephesus,

DO NOT be lead into the ‘error’ of supposing that God will overlook the sins of the Saints because they ‘believe’ in Jesus. Don’t be ‘cheated’ out of your birthright by convincing yourself that God approves of your carnal behavior because you are ‘cloaked’ the Righteousness of Christ.

Jesus Himself said that the very elect could be DECEIVED, Matt24:24, they are NOT immune because they have once believed! Sheep can go ASTRAY, Matt18:12, be Deceived and Devoured by the wolves. The warning of Balaam stands VIVIDLY before us! 2Pet2:15. He went ‘astray’ and NEVER returned again! As Cain also ran greedily into destruction and perished. Jude11.

Some Sheep do indeed ‘Return’ again to the fold after going astray, 1Pet2:24-25, but Deception can be deadly because it hardens the heart against the truth. Esau sold his birthright and fell short of the Grace of God because sin had defiled him past the point of no return. Heb12:12-16. The Winds of False Doctrine are Powerful today, cunning and VERY crafty, Eph4:14, Deception comes in every form and MANY who are teaching error have been ‘deceived’ by the VERY error they teach! Therefore the false doctrine has an ‘air of reliability’ behind it, which makes it even MORE seductive.

Here is where the Great Dragon has gained his power over the Saints. The Beast that appears as a Lamb but speaks like a dragon, Rev13:11, has crafted an IMAGE that looks, Talks and Walks like the real Jesus! Through it he DECEIVES the whole world, Rev13:15-18, by teaching Doctrines that ‘sound’ Christian but contain the poison of Asps. The False Prophets will NOT tell you that lust and immorality will KEEP you OUT of the Kingdom of God. They will NOT declare the warnings contained in Scripture against certain types of behavior that bring about spiritual death and eventually Perdition. You will hear NOTHING said against Double-mindedness, Serving two masters or baring rotten fruit.

As a result people have drawn the conclusion that God will wink at their sin and NO ONE can possibly have heart made PURE by faith. The VERY foundation of the Gospel message has been turned on its head! The Effective Working of His Mighty Power to Redeem the soul from the corruption that is in the world through lust is REVERSED. Professed Christians remain in a state of ‘inner bondage’ to their sin, CLOAKED with an OUTWARD Righteousness supposedly Transferred to them from Christ. Their hearts remain VILE and the religious exterior applied is a thin covering over their dark hypocrisy within.

The False Prophets of present day Christianity will NEVER warn you of the DECEPTION they themselves are teaching. That would defeat their purpose, expose them and be FAR too obvious for the power of darkness to work his schemes. Thus our society wallows in iniquity and our churches are powerless to stem the tide. Thousands profess Salvation under the Modern Evangelistic formulas, Christian outreach is in full gear but NOTHING Changes. The Depths of depravity continue their downward spiral. Sin, lust, selfishness and greed devastate the lives of professing Christians and NO ONE sounds the alarm! They just keep teaching that’s it’s normal to sin all the time, everyone does it and God forgives it all!

The VIVID Contrast of Christ’s own Words Stand as Testimony to His Saints. You can OVERCOME them! (the False Prophets and spirit of error) 1Jh4:4. IF you Hold Fast to the WORD and Contend for the Faith. The TRUTH is under Attack and MANY are being DECEIVED! It’s time to WAKE UP stop playing church and JOIN the Struggle against the Dragon. There’s no middle ground for the cowards. (Rev21:8)

Do you sit unknowingly under the teaching of a False Prophet sowing to your flesh and Deceived? If nothing previously said has struck a cord within you to prompt you into action, your slumber must be intensely Deep. The Final Call has gone forth and Judgement will soon become a reality. You can face it now in the bitter tears of repentance or WAIT until the Books are open and find that your name has been blotted out.
