Beware of Error!
The Doctrine which is according to godliness, (1Tim6:3) is the engine that governs your salvation. Any doctrine that does not promote righteous behavior and a godly life style is 'destitute' of truth. The Grace of God does NOT make up for your lack of obedience to the faith. Nor does it accommodate immoral behavior. The Bible declares plainly that the 'unrighteous' will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God! (1Cor6:9-10, Eph5:5-7) Let no one deceive you with empty words. If you are living in known, willful sin (uncleanness, adultery, homosexuality, drunkenness) you are NOT on the Road to heaven, according to Scripture. Sincerity of faith and Purity of heart is the very basis of God's Grace. (1Tim1:5-6) There is NO such thing as an 'occasional' act of sexual immorality. Don't fall for the lie so prevalent in the modern churches. Salvation is the WORK of Faith with Power! (2Thess1:11) If you have not died to the corrupting influence of sin, your soul is in DANGER of hell fire!

Formalism is fatal to true religion. Lacking the vital life giving force of God’s Spirit, it has no power to transform the heart of man. Yet people are satisfied to substitute almost anything for this life sustaining force. Some cling to doctrines, others sacraments, still more insist on ceremony. All in an effort to find the true nature of God expressed in His Son. Find out what true and undefiled religion in Christ really is, according to Scripture. Then you can test your own profession against the truth.
Many of you may have even received the prayer wheel through email. This email is asking people to pray for our soldiers and for the innocent people who are caught in the middle of war. However, before we pray to God, we must all examine ourselves. (3Cor13:5) Sometimes people may wonder, "why haven't our prayers been answered?" Well there is an answer. God sends rain on the just and unjust, Matt5:45 and blessing on the good and the bad! Rom2:4
The Bible frequently uses the Word 'Hold Fast' or 'Hold On!' In many places the word is translated; 'Keep' or 'Observe' or 'Hold Fast!' In each case the Word means literally to: 'Attend carefully, take care of, Guard & keep, carefully watch' In other words the Scripture is commanding you to "Hold fast, watch carefully, guard and take care of' your profession of faith. You must not leave these things undone! Don't fall for the lie of modern doctrine that says you can do 'nothing' and enter the kingdom. Find out what scripture really has to say about Holding fast to the Word of life!
Today most preachers are afraid to tell anyone that 'something' is required of them to enter into eternal life. Because of the 'Not of works' doctrine so prevalent in the modern church, people are under the impression that they can 'believe' on Christ for full salvation and their conduct afterwards doesn't matter. But this is a 'connection' that scripture simply DOES NOT make! Study the scriptures for yourself and find out what true saving faith is all about. The eternal destination of your soul depends on it.
Why is it that the vast majority of professing Christians walk in daily defeat, in bondage to various lusts and under the influence of deceiving spirits? NOTHING in scripture supports this mode of operation, yet it is common practice among those who call themselves Christians to testify of defeat and bondage. Is it enough, according to the Bible to just 'believe' and that's the end of it? Christ overcomes for you. Your conduct doesn't matter. You are vanquished by the forces of evil, the lust of the flesh & the pride of life, and Still a child of God? Many seem to think so.
Described vividly in the book of Revelation, chapters 2 & 3, is the professing Christian church in its present state. The people in attendance however are almost completely unaware of the Judgment standing at the very doors. Called upon to repent by the Spirit of God, they ignore His probing and proclaim themselves 'in need of nothing'! But the fact remains, they are destitute of His holiness, full of lies & hypocrisy, possessing a 'form' of godliness & void of power.

If any man is in Christ he is a New Creation, old things have passed away, all things become new! 2Cor5:17 The eternal security preachers say this can happen to you in Christ and you can have NOTHING to show for it! Could a caterpillar become a butterfly and no one notice a transformation has taken place? That's what happens in a genuine New Birth, the Metamorphosis of true life changing faith!
