The Solid Foundation

"Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands having this seal: "The Lord knows those who are His," and, "Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity!" 2Tim2:19

"And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires." Gal5:24

Many people profess to be Christians. Yet they live in daily bondage to sin, lust and selfishness. No one exhorts them to change their ways, so they believe its normal for church going Christians to live a carnal lifestyle. As long as they believe in Christ everything will be fine, they think. After all, He died for our sins and gave us the free gift of salvation. We don't have to work our way to heaven, just 'believe!' John3:16

But the problem is you have been misled about the Purpose of God's Grace and the Demands it makes on your life when you become a Christian. That's why you haven't the slightest clue in the world what it means to 'Crucify' the flesh with its passions & desires! Your preachers never told it was a necessary part of the salvation experience.

The Bible teaches that those who belong to Christ have 'Crucified' the flesh with its passions & desires. That sin no longer has 'Dominion' over you, Rom6:14, That you are to Walk in Newness of life because you have been set free from sin by Obedience to the Faith! Rom6:4,16-18

The Purpose of the Commandment is: Love, from a Pure heart, sincere faith and good conscience! 1Tim1:4

THIS is the Biblical Standard of Conversion, anything less is merely clanging cymbals.

'Believing' on Christ means you 'obey' from the heart that form of Doctrine to which you are delivered. OLD things therefore, PASS Away, and ALL things become NEW! 2Cor13:5 The Beginning of your Salvation is the moment you decide to OBEY God with all your heart, mind, soul & strength, SEEK the Righteousness that comes by faith & experience the PURITY of heart that happens by Obedience! 1Pet1:22

Just knowing about Christ won't purify your heart. The devils know! Js2:19. YOU must Obey!

If 'Believing' is just a walk down the aisle & repeat these words, then the Bible is in ERROR! For Scripture declares that the Purpose of God's Grace is thus:

"He gave Himself for us to Redeem us from every lawless deed and Purify for Himself His own special people zealous for good works!" Titus2:14

That's why the Grace of God that brings salvation has appeared unto all men, "Teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust and live soberly & righteously & godly in this present age!" Titus2:12

NOT in the age to come, BUT NOW! Because without holiness NO MAN will see the Lord. Heb12:14

What the majority of preachers are not telling you is that God's Grace demands that you enter into a genuine Living relationship with Christ, by Obedience to His Word and then utilize the Power of His Grace to Put to Death the deeds of the Body & KEEP yourself in His Love or risk falling back under the condemnation of sin! Rom8:6,13, 1John3:3, 5:18

God requires that you PUT OFF the old man, which grows corrupt according to deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and you PUT ON the New Man which was created according to God in righteousness and true holiness! Eph4:22-24

The Reasons He requires these things are simple: First because you have Free Will to choose & He wants you to Love Him willingly from your heart. And Second, Because HE has provided a WAY to Redeem your soul from the corrupting influence of sin, set you on the Path to Righteousness & Make you zealous to WORK for His Kingdom! 2Pet1:4, John14:15

By letting the preachers persuade you that none of these things are necessary and all you have to do is 'believe' you not only CHEAT yourself out of so GREAT a Salvation, Heb2:3, But INSULT the Spirit of Grace by which He Provides it! Heb10:26

That's why the Scripture says there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, if you willfully sin against a Knowledge of the Truth! Heb10:26 What MORE could God so? He Paid the penalty for sin through Christ on the Cross & offers His own POWER to Redeem us from the Bondage of our selfishness.

All we have to do is 'Lay hold' of the means by which we are Cleansed, Purified & Redeemed! That's what GRACE is all about. God's Power to Provide you with the very Mind of Christ, the Divine Nature, written on your heart in Newness of life! Phil2:5, 2Pet1:4, Heb8:10-12

This is the primary reason there is so much mental illness, crime and moral decay in our society. The Christian church has corrupted this Glorious message until it's meaningless and people are believing in Vain! 1Cor15:2

They talk about knowing Jesus & accepting Him as their personal savior, but NEVER do they hold forth the Word of Life so people can be cleansed of their sin, delivered from its bondage and given a New Heart that's Pure!

You can Know Him in the Power of His Resurrection, but only if you are willing to share in the fellowship of His sufferings. Phil3:10 (meaning that you must identify yourself with the life & death of Christ so self is crucified)

Scripture says you can CEASE from sin, IF you arm yourself with Mind of Christ, 1Pet4:1

Foreign concept to most professing Christians who are taught by their preachers they must sin everyday in thought, word & deed. But it's the truth of Scripture.

The simple truth of the Bible is that God's Grace was given to set you FREE from sin because it is sin that will DESTROY you and send you to hell! You MUST understand that you will Reap what you Sow. Whether you know Jesus or not! Gal6:7-8 Continuing in sin will destroy your soul.

Obey the Command of Scripture, Come to the Light that is Christ that your deeds be exposed, Jn3:20-21, Hunger & Thirst for His Righteousness, Read His Word, Let your heart be truly cleansed by Faith. Seek until you find true release from your sins. Turn your ears away from the lies of modern religion and toward Jesus the Author & finisher of the Faith.
